Enquiry details you send us

When you complete an enquiry form we store the details you give us — name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, country, dates, guest numbers, yacht preference, budget range, occasion and your message — together with the page you enquired from and any campaign reference in the link you arrived through. We use them only to prepare your charter proposal and to reply to you, and we keep them for as long as we may reasonably need to service or follow up your enquiry. If you tick the marketing box, we also send seasonal availability and offers; every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link.

Advertising measurement cookies

We advertise on Google. To see which adverts lead to real enquiries, our pages can load the Google tag (gtag.js) for our Google Ads account and report the following events to Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC: page views, clicks on our WhatsApp and email links, enquiry form submissions and newsletter sign-ups. These cookies and events are used for conversion measurement and for optimising and personalising our adverts. We do not sell your data.

Matching your enquiry to an advert (enhanced conversions). When you accept advertising cookies and then send an enquiry or join our list, we also send Google your email address, phone number and name in a scrambled (SHA-256 hashed) form, together with your country code. Scrambling happens in your browser before the data leaves it, the plain values are never sent, and the scrambled values cannot be read back into your details. Google uses them only to match your enquiry to the advert you clicked, so we can measure and improve our advertising. If you have not accepted, or you reject or later withdraw, nothing of this is sent — and your enquiry reaches us exactly as normal either way.

In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland these cookies are set only after you accept them on our cookie banner, and rejecting is exactly as easy as accepting. If you have not decided, or you reject, no advertising cookies or advertising identifiers are stored. Elsewhere, the tag runs by default and we honour any applicable opt-out signal.

We keep a record of each choice — the decision, when it was made, the version of this notice shown, and the country reported for the visit — so we can evidence it. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the cookie settings link, and the change applies immediately.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to its use. Write to info@lycyachts.com and we reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner in Malta.
